Reset 2017 Suggestions for Judeo-Christian Communities

Here is a draft of suggestions that could be expanded upon.
  1.  Examine the concept of Jubilee as presented in the scriptures and see how we can apply it in 2017.
For Christian Communities:

Suggestions for Studying the Unshakable Truth

The Unshakable Truth Network is for every Christian who wants themselves, their families and others to have their faith established on a relationship with Jesus Christ as revealed by the Holy Spirit, primarily through the word of God.  The suggestions below are a starting point on that journey.  If you have other suggestions, make a comment to this post.  

Suggestions for Individuals
  1. Get the book and the Study Guide.  You can get them both on Amazon or for Kobo and other e readers. 
  2. Answer the Video Question from your previous knowledge as a starting point. see Unshakable Truth Video: Questions.
  3. Set up a plan to read the book and focus on related scriptures (see links in the Unshakable Truth Network post) each day. (see Unshakable Truth 1: God Exists for a suggested pattern).
    1. Make notes on what God is saying from the scriptures.  What is the primary message of the passage and any personal applications. 
    2. Next read and do the corresponding section from the study guide.
  4. Discuss each truth with someone else.
    1. You may want to ask a friend the video question as a discussion point, even if they don't believe as you do.
    2. See suggestions for groups below.

Suggestions for Groups

Introductory Session
  1. Go over highlights of Chapter 1 in the book.
  2. View Power Point on Teaching Truth in Today's Youth Culture
  3. Look at what the scriptures say about truth see Truth According to Jesus (John's, Version )
  4. Watch the introductory video.for lesson one stop when you get to the question.  
  5. Give the assignment for next week -
    1. To answer the video question and  asking others the question if they want to.
    2. Read  verses and Chapters 1-7 in the book.  See Unshakable Truth 1: God Exists
    3. Read the preface and do session 1 in the study guide.
Weekly Sessions:
  1. Share answers to the Video Question
  2. Watch part 2 of the video.
  3. Discuss insights from your study see the Unshakable Truth Network
    1. Review questions, insights and highlights from the book with a focus on the scriptures.
    2. Review any additional questions, insights and highlights from the study guide.
  4. Watch the introductory video.for the next lesson.  Stop when you get to the question.  
  5. Give the assignment for next week including asking others the video question.
  6. Pray for one another.
If reading and studying  all of the chapters in the book is a problem, you may want to take more time to go through the study so it may take two or three weeks to do one session.
